Red Canyon Rim Trail

The popular Canyon Rim Trail starts at the Red Canyon Visitor Center and follows the edge of the canyon for about a mile before turning away through ponderosa and aspen forest to the Greendale Rest Area off Hwy 44.

After two miles, the trail splits, with the western leg swinging by Green Lake before rejoining the trail. Extend the trip by taking the Swett Ranch Trail at the Greendale Rest Area.
